Quinssa 2017 Christmas Appeal in aid of the Shooting Star CHASE Children's Hospice

Can you add a Child to your Christmas Present List and Support the Quinssa 2017 Christmas Appeal in aid of Shooting Star Chase?

A regular activity on the Quinssa calendar is supporting Shooting Star Chase via our Christmas Appeal.

Shooting Star Chase (Registered Charity No. 1042495) are a children's hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Their 365 support is offered free of charge and only a small percentage of this is funded, so they rely very heavily on their supporters to keep the service running.

This year there are 2 ways you can help:

  1. Buy a Present for one of the children, which will be given to them by Father Christmas at their Christmas party (which some Quins players attend).
  2. Make a donation towards a Precious Moment such as time in a sensory room, a memory box for a family, a family session in the hydrotherapy pool or a short family break at one of the hospices.

What, Where and How to Donate Presents

Below is a suggested list of gifts broken down by age group. As the SSC staff will need to sort the gifts by age and ability before assigning them to a specific child PLEASE DO NOT WRAP YOUR PRESENTS - if they can be provided in a gift bag that would be ideal.

Present or Cash donations can be made at the Quinssa stand before each of the following matches:

Quins v Saracens - Sunday, 3rd December

Quins v Ulster - Sunday, 10th December

Presents can also be handed into the IG Reception between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

Monetary donations can also be paid directly into the Quinssa account:
Sort Code: 30 93 23
Account: 02067953
Reference: SSC

I do hope as many of our Members as possible feel able to support this Appeal to help these very special children and their amazing families.

Thank you in advance for your support
