Quins Related Books

Nothing to do with Quinssa as such but we thought you might like to be reminded about them...
Some of you may already have received your copy the official history book Nunquam Dormio - 150 years of Harlequins written by Brendan Gallagher. You can find further details at www.nunquamdormio.co.uk

But just like busses, you wait 150 years for one and two arrive at the same time! The other one is Harlequins The First 150 Years, this unofficial history is written by Quinssa member Nick Cross and this huge tome (nearly 800 pages) is available through amazon.

Then there is Immortal Harlequin: The Story of Adrian Stoop written by Quinssa member Ian Cooper which is a fantastic read about one of the greatest characters in the history of Harlequins and rugby in general. It is available through Amazon.

Finally there is For Poulton and England: The life and times of an Edwardian rugby hero again written by a Quinssa member James Corsan which is about one of the most exciting players ever to wear the quarters and the rose and one who died in the great war just over 100 years ago - Ronald Poulton. Again this is available on Amazon.

Lions Tour 2017 Book Offer

FOCUS ON THE FANS: Lions Tour 2017’. Were you in New Zealand? Would you like to have been? Bring back the memories or get a flavour of being on a Lions Tour with this superb 255 page hardback book by photojournalist, Ken Skehan. Chock full of fan stories and over 600 images, the book is Ken’s tribute to the role fans play in making elite sport what it is today. Warren Gatland told him the morning after the final test: “The most memorable part of the tour was the Lions fans”, and Rory Underwood’s heartfelt foreword underlines what fans mean to the players.  £8 per hardback copy sold direct to Quins fans will go straight to the Harlequins Foundation if you enter Quins in the comments box when ordering.  Quinssa will have a copy on their stand at the Wasps game on 13 Jan, come and have a look. Publisher RRP is £36 but Ken is selling them direct to fans for £24 (plus P & P) if you buy online, or simply download a PDF copy for £5 (refunded if you then buy the hardback).
