Quinssa and Our Sponsors and Partners
Quinssa have been working with Harlequins main sponsors (Etihad Airways and Greene King) to bring our members a number of rewards
Etihad
Etihad are again showing their commitment to the Quins fans and working to make being a member of Quinssa even more rewarding! They have been very generous in supporting Quinssa by providing a number of exciting prizes for our competitions and raffles. Find out more about Etihad at www.etihadrugby.com
Quinssa have been working with Etihad, the new sponsor of Harlequins, to develop more Quinssa member benefits. Etihad see Quinssa as the ‘voice’ of the Quins supporter and will continue to work with Quinssa during the season. You can find the full details here.
For those of you who don’t know much about Etihad Airways, they are the national airline of the United Arab Emirates and the fastest growing airline in the world. They have won several top awards in the last few years, and fly to over 45 destinations worldwide, via their hub Abu Dhabi. They have a strong customer focus and we see this as really positive in their partnership with Quinssa. Have a look at their website if you want to know more: www.etihadairways.com.
Greene King
As well as providing the Quins' Head as the only real ale bar in the Premiership, Greene King have always supported Quinssa with monthly prizes.
Get behind your team in an Official Harlequins Supporter Pub
With the start of the new Aviva Premiership season, Harlequins fans are already being given something to celebrate, with the launch of the 2010/11 Harlequins Supporter Pub Network.
A home away from home, the nine pubs in and around Twickenham and South West London are the perfect place for fans looking to support their team in style. With a match day atmosphere at any time throughout the season, the pubs offer Quins supporters a unique chance to soak up the pre- or post-match banter, celebrate their favourite team with fellow fans, watch a game on TV, or simply celebrate their love of rugby, all over a pint of Greene King IPA, the nations’ favourite cask ale.
Greene King IPA is once again the Official Beer of Harlequins for the 2010/11 season and is helping fans get behind their favourite team by creating the perfect match day venue. Lucky fans will also be in with a chance to enjoy a fixture at The Stoop first-hand, with Greene King IPA providing all nine pubs with a selection of tickets for home games that can be won by purchasing a pint of the team’s official beer.
Throughout the course of the season, Quins fans will also have the opportunity to win free pints of Greene King IPA, which they will be able to redeem and enjoy in any of the pubs in the network. Followers should look out for special vouchers and competitions in the matchday programmes and at www.quins.co.uk.
Greene King IPA marketing manager, Keith Ironside said, “We are delighted to be able to create a match day environment for Quins’ loyal followers at each of the nine pubs in this year’s Official Harlequins Supporters’ Pub Network. We hope to see fans soaking up the pre-match atmosphere before, during and after home games, while enjoying a pint of Greene King IPA with friends and fellow Harlequins fans.”

London Remembers which started sponsoring Quinssa last season has recently launched its new website and has a Facebook page as well. (Twitter will follow shortly).
Although there are only two rugby memorials so far - to the founding of the RFU and to our own Nick Duncombe - there are over 2,200 memorials and over 9,300 subjects to browse through – all in London. Please note our London doesn’t extend as far as Reading or High Wycombe!
London Remembers (londonremembers.com) will be sponsoring the Quinssa Summer Dinner this year so look out for further announcements nearer the time.
Other deals and offers for Quinssa Members
Eating In Twickenham, discounts available with Quinssa card:
10% Off your first round on match days at the Prince of Wales, Twickenham
I run a pub called The Prince of Wales. I would like to offer Harlequins fans a 10% discount on their first round here if they produce a ticket on matchday:
Jonathan Parry, Prince of Wales, 136 Hampton Road, Twickenham, TW2 5QR
Quinssa 10% Discount at The Fish Kitchen, Sheen
Quinssa member Chris Munton writes...
Earlier this week, I visited a ‘newish’ local Fish Restaurant in Sheen. I was greeted like a ‘long lost brother’ by the manager, Steve Jones, who it transpired, is a life long Quins fan. He managed to recognise me (even without the hat !) and I enjoyed a sizeable discount on the bill. We had a great meal & whilst chatting, he said he would be pleased to offer all Quins supporters a 10% discount off their bill. I said I would pass the information over to you and if you were interested you might publish the establishment in the Newsletter.
The Restaurant is called ‘The Fish Kitchen’ and is located at 170 Upper Richmond Road West, East Sheen, Tel: 020 8878 1040. They provide a full range of traditional fish dishes including lobster & prawn, all cooked to order. Based on my own ‘culinary experience’ I would have no hesitation in recommending both the food and the service.
I know you frequently add such opportunities to the Quinssa ‘offers’ so I thought I would drop you a line. Prospective diners would need to have their Quins or Quinssa membership card to display on arrival.
Fancy An Indian?
Quinssa are delighted to announce that the Taste of Moghul Indian restaurant in York Street, Twickenham is offering all Quins Season Ticket Holders a 10% discount off their final bill. This offer applies on any day except England Internationals, and is conditional on production of a current season ticket. Taste of Moghul web site.
20% off pub grub at the William Webb Ellis
The William Webb Ellis bar will give a 20% discount on food orders for any Quins supporter wearing a Quins match type quartered shirt of any vintage. The offer is open every day of the year, so any time you are in Twickenham, make sure you are wearing your Quins shirt!
NOTE: You will need to mention the discount at the start of your order to avoid upsetting the bar person because of the way the tills work!

10% Off your first round on match days at the Prince of Wales, Twickenham

Scrummery Café at Twickenham
The Scrummery at Twickenham Stadium is no more, but Karen is still running the original Scrummery at 105 Whitton Road. She has very kindly offered Quinssa members a 10% discount on their bill on production of their membership card.
The Scrummery has been a favourite of Harlequins players (or "My boys" as Karen calls them) for a long time.
Now that The Stoop doesn't open until 1pm why not pop in to The Scrummery for a pre match breakfast/lunch.
Please note that The Scrummery isn't always open, so do check first.
