Munster

Today we welcome Munster for our last Heineken Cup game of the season. We hope all their fans, management and team enjoy the weekend in the capital city. If you look around the ground and pause, it’s not bad for an alternative home venue is it?

We also hope that the occasional spectator that might have dragged along sees something today to make them want to come to The Stoop to enjoy our own brand of running fluent rugby.

Whilst the group remains intriguingly poised, for us the drama is over for another year after succumbing to a cavalcade of second half tries in Castres. Many fans trekked down there and had a great time in deepest southern France. Somewhere between the Cassoulet and the Goyas, the occasional vin rouge and the barmy sunshine, a good time was had

HOPA evening

Quinssa’s next big event is on Thursday 3rd December at 7.30pm at The Stoop in association with Harlequins’ Old Players Association. It’s a chance to compare and contrast the past and present with a packed line up that includes amongst others Bob Hiller, a British Lion and Quins’ captain from the mid sixties; Graeme Murray captain at the end of the sixties; Rory Jenkins who played for us in the nineties and Simon Miall from the current crop of players. The evening will primarily take the form of a Q & A. The evening is free to Quinssa members, a small charge for guests. Any proceeds raised from the night will go towards supporting our Academy.

Coach travel

The coaches are now firmly in the hands of John Hartley who can be contacted at coaches@quinssa.org.uk. The next trip we have planned is at the end of January to one of our lucky grounds, Leicester. Full details are available from John, it’s good value as always and great fun travelling on our coaches.

Quinssa calendars

The Quinssa calendars are selling very well so don’t delay make sure you get hold of your copy before it’s too late!

What’s Quinssa?

Quinssa is the independent fans organisation now in it’s second year. We’ve a web site at www.quinssa.org.uk packed with information. Quinssa primarily organise away travel, arrange a host of social events, support the club and raise a fair bit for charity along the way.

Quinssa stand

There’s no Quinssa stand this week, so if you’re around for the Gloucester game then why not pop along to our table in the East stand by the stage? It’s a chance to meet and greet other fans, book for coaches and find out more about us.

Have a really great day, cheer the lads all the way and help raise the roof on this record breaking occasion.
