Bath Rugby

A very big welcome to the Stoop today to the fans, management and players of Bath Rugby Club. It’s a vital game for both sides with us both temporarily at the wrong end of the table. Let’s hope their journey back is every bit as miserable as some of those we have endured over the years in the other direction!

Who are Quinssa?

Just in case you’ve been ensconced in a rain forest for the last year or two, Quinssa is the new face of vibrant support at the Stoop. We’ve been running for nearly eighteen months now and Quinssa stands for Quins Supporter’s Association. We run away match coaches, provide lots of information for European travel, run fun events (some exceedingly silly), raise cash for charity and a whole lot else. Our membership is fast approaching five hundred. Why not join us? Download a form from our website on www.quinssa.org.uk or visit our stand.

Come and meet us

Quinssa run a small stand in the East stand before the game on match days. Why not pop along and introduce yourself. It’s a good chance to join, renew your membership, book for coaches and find out other information.

Quinssa Bursary

Quinssa are very proud to announce the first recipient of a Quinssa bursary of £500. This is going to one of our young academy players, Tosh Masson, to help him with his travelling costs as he starts on that long road to becoming a professional rugby player. He’s clearly one to look out for and we wish him all the luck.

Quinssa coaches

Quinssa regularly runs coaches to away games. We’re trying an experiment this year of having early and late coaches. So if you fancy going to either Worcester or Bath (that’s next week and the week after) then contact me on will@quinssa.org.uk or see me at the Quinssa desk before the game today for full details. Our coaches are great fun and it’s a good way to meet other fans. We are also taking bookings for the Heineken Cup game against Neath-Swansea Ospreys.

Quiz night

After a busy summer of events and rural globe trotting the rugby is taking centre stage for a while. One event to look forward to is the big quiz night we are helping with along with Wasps and Quin’s ladies on Wednesday 27th October. Full details are on our website on www.quinssa.org.uk. A whole range of charities will benefit from the evening including the BPA as well as the HLFC Youth Academy. It should be great fun night and will seriously test the rugby memories of the teams taking part.

Enjoy the day
