Quinssa ND1 Travel Guide
Newbury Rugby Football Club
Monks Lane, Newbury RG14 7RW
(t) 0870 753 7773 (f) 01635 40533
Where the club is: Newbury is one of the few short journeys we have this year. It’s situated in west Berkshire a little way west of Reading.
Club ground: Facilities at the ground would appear to be quite good with a relatively large car park and a variety of different bars in the club house. There’s grass terracing on three sides. Capacity is about 8000 and the ground has been used in recent years for England under 21 games.
Position last year: Last year Newbury were a strong second (to Doncaster) in ND2 and thus were promoted. They will probably be planning for a year of consolidation.

How to get there:
Train: Direct trains from London Paddington run quite regularly or you might want to change at Reading. The ground is a bit of a hike from the station, put RG14 7RW into Streetmap.co.uk and plan your route from there.
Road: Exit 13 on the M4, full details can be found at http://www.newburyrfc.co.uk/ and click on Directions. There’s parking at the ground for about 300 cars.
