Where the club is: Er …. just down the road! London Welsh have rich and proud history. They are intrinsically linked to Welsh national rugby and the successes of the seventies. Since then times have been a little harder with the last few years being a struggle to stay in the division,

Club ground: Old Deer Park is in Richmond.

Position last year: Not the easiest of seasons for London Welsh as they just avoided relegation finishing tenth with seven wins out of 26.

How to get there:

Road: Imagine you are going to a home game and make a slight detour. To plan your route put TW9 2AZ into streetmap.co.uk

Rail: Richmond is served by frequent trains from London Waterloo (South West trains) and a host of other places. It’s also at one end of the District Tube line (that’s the green one on those ever so pretty tube maps). The ground is about a ten minute walk from the station.
